Counselling Psychologist

Maryam holds a master’s degree in Social and Applied Psychology from the University of Kent, and a 3-year degree in counselling. Her counselling training includes The Person Centred Approach, Cognitive & dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and The Psychodynamic Approach. She also implements creative writing, and art therapy for adults and teens. She works with a range of mental health issues such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), general and social anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, Personality Disorders and ADHD.

Maryam is passionate about dealing with marital issues, breakups/divorce, loneliness, bullying, and postnatal depression for new mums.

Maryam offers self-development and self-discovery therapy for individuals who don’t have a mental health diagnosis but would like to work towards bettering themselves and their relationships.

She is an author of four personal development/mental health books available on Amazon. Maryam speaks English and Arabic, and is interested in working with teenagers and adults in their 20s-30s.
